I'm Stickin' With Scarves.....

Hmmm five years give or take off and on to make the afghan and a few hours to make the scarf....I'm definitely sticking with scarves. =) Okay it helps if you actually work on something and then it won't take 5 years! Thanks for the yarn Miss Corinne...it was put to good use! I just might wear it on this cold and rainy day today. Brrrr.

Finally finished!

I finally finished the afghan I have been working on off and on for years. I mean years! I pick it up, crochet a bit, put it away for weeks, sometimes months, then pick it up again. Well yesterday I finished it! Yes! I folded it, put it at the end of the bed and I am very happy with how it came out. =) However long it takes I just love finishing a project. On to the next. Not sure what it will be but I am looking forward to it. =)

Winter Recital has come and gone. All of the hard work and dedication paid off and the shows were fantastic! 3 nights of dancing, dancing, dancing! Dress rehearsal, recital night one, recital night two. Watching Tatiana grow throughout the years into such a wonderful dancer and now assistant teacher is pretty cool. We are so proud of you Tatiana. Fabulous job!

Christmas 2008....

This year Christmas morning the three of us opened gifts, had breakfast together, then went over to Corinne's in our jammies and had a mini Christmas with her. After that we came home and cooked and headed out to the clubhouse where Stephanie and Larry live. We had so much fun! Charise flew in from Atlanta, Rosie and Ja'Lisa flew in from Arizona, Sherome and her family came down from L.A., Shaaron and her girls were there, Desco's daughter, and some family friends. Family, food and fun..what more could you ask for!? It was a fantastic Christmas! Check out the family photo album on the right for more fun and festivities...=)

This is our favorite time of year. =) Here are some pics from the weekend after Thanksgiving just after decorating the house. All of the neighbors were out that day putting up lights and decorations. What a beautiful time of year. We hope all of our family and friends have a wonderful Christmas and that 2009 is our best year yet! Merry Christmas!
