Catching up with old friends..Thanks for a great time!

Just got back from dinner at Yolanda and Lee's house. Yolanda has known Jamie since 8th grade!! Wow what a long lasting friendship! Their house is beautiful and the company was fantastic! Thanks so much Yolanda and Lee for a wonderful dinner and fun night! Let's do it again soon!

The "Crew"...or at least part of them....

Celebrating Destinee's birthday with a sleepover at Marissa's house. Hmm which one is Destinee...could she be the one with the crown!? L. to R. Tatiana, Marissa, Destinee, Brenna, and Tiffany. Movies, eating, staying up very late according to Marissa's brothers, and hangin' out. Thanks for having them Sylvia!!! Now they are on the way to Destinee's for a sleepover tonight! The fun never ends! My turn next? =)

Step Two....

We are on week two of our wine, cheese, crackers and grapes painting. It is coming along quite nicely and I have learned so much on this painting. This one is going to take us 3 weeks so I will post the final painting next week. Loving this!

Ahh Valentines Day....Tatiana and I decided to make cupcakes in honor of the day. They look so tasty! Mmm mmm good!

The Fun Continues.....work in progress...

Art class just got even more fun because Jennifer and Corine who owned the shop next to ours and also had to close due to the water just joined class with me. They are very excited to be in class and we are all thrilled to be doing something fun together. New assignment, wine, cheese, crackers, and fruit...maybe I should ask the teacher if we can sample the items in this painting while we paint. Sounds good to me! This one is my favorite so far!

I framed the swans and put them by the fireplace. Lovely. I need an art wall...I think I will start that next after I gain some more skills. =)

Make History......

Super Tuesday!
Today is the day...get out and vote! What an incredible election year this is. The choices we have are history making! Even Tatiana at 13 years old said what a "controversial" election this is! It is wonderful! So people...get out and vote! Whoever you vote for today, Obama, Clinton,....those "other guys" on the "other side," make it count today. Make history.

Faith, Peace, Love....

This is my corner where I pray and reflect each morning. The candle and the rock are for my faith, the Buddha is for peace, and the plaque is for love. I light the candle each morning and say a prayer. I read an inspirational quote or scripture and just reflect while drinking a nice warm cup of coffee. My meditation. It starts my day out on a positive, peaceful, spiritual note. My faith has gotten me through the madness this last year, without it I wouldn't have made it, peace has returned, and the love of my husband, daughter, family and friends, gives me pure joy. If you have faith, peace and love in your life, in whatever form it comes to you, you pretty much have it all!

A Dog's Life.....

Awww, Super Bowl Sunday...what's a dog to do? Lay around and sleep on a bunch of pillows I guess. What a life! Angel and Jamie are doing about the same thing today....=) Okay, I admit it, Tatiana and I are too! Don't ya love Sundays!
